To assemble a computer,you will be have to perform following tasks:
step 1:preparing the cabinet
- Remove the screws the righthand side panel.
- slide the panel back to release them from the chasis of the cabinet.
step 2:installing the smps
check the smps functioning properly or not before installing in case.To do that short the green PS_ON and black ground . pins of 24 ATX power connector by using a paper clip or metal wire.Connect the power cable to the SMPS and other end to the power socket on the wall and check if the fan rotates.
If the fan doesn't rotate , return the power supply for one that works.If u see the fan is rotating,unplug the power supply before beginning to install it.
step 3:installing the motherboard back plate
The motherboard backplate,is also called blanking plate fit into the cabinet and gives u access only to the ports that your motherboard has.
step 4:Connecting a case fan to the cabinet.
After placing the SMPS inside the case the next step is to installthe cabinet fan.Most cabinets come with at least one fan pre-installed and some cabinets have two.Typically,one fan is installed in the front as an air intake and another at the back as an exhaust.
step 5:installing the CPU or processor
After connecting the cabinet fan to the case, the next step is to intall the cpu or the processor on the motherboard.
Take all the necessary precautions .
step 6:installing heat sink on processor
step 7:installing RAM on the motherboard
